an image of a typical traditional interior executed by Christopher.

A visit to "Oakley" a property Christopher was restoring in the village of Bowdon in Cheshire for the Chairman of Ocean Software, so impressed the Duke and Duchess of Westminster, with the exceptional quality of Christopher's work; that they invited him to design a range of furniture and interior fitments for Eaton Hall which, at the time, was undergoing refurbishment.

The commission was hand-made in Christopher's workshop, led by Tim a master cabinet-maker, who had originally been apprenticed to John Makepeace the notable furniture maker and who had recently joined Christopher's team from another prestigious workshop based within the grounds of Eaton Estate.
