Barbara Epstein purchased a converted barn not far from Christopher's workshop.

The commission was to re-construct and furnish the sitting-room, including built-in furniture, all the necessary electrical works to the background lighting, music centre etc.

Afterwards, Mrs Epstein would readily comment that although she was a most fastidious client, Christopher's team always left her home even cleaner than when they arrived.
